
I am an artist living and working in Cape Town.
I moved to Cape Town from London in 2003 and relocated from my studio at the Old Brewery in Woodstock to my home studio in Clifton in 2015.
I trained at Central, Hornsey and The Slade in London as well the Rijks Akademie in Amsterdam.

Born Johannesburg 1955.
After schooling and military service in the Navy in 1973, I went to London to study Art. I lived in London from 1974 till 1978 and 1982 till 2002.
I returned to Cape Town in 1978 till 1980 and taught drawing at Ruth Prowse Art School
I went to Amsterdam in 1980 and lived there till 1982 where I studied printmaking at the Reijks Akademie.
I Returned to London in 1982 to do a postgraduate degree at the Slade and graduated in 1984.
I Lived and worked in London as an artist /carpenter /furniture maker/property renovator.
In 2000 I studied part time for a Business Science degree at the University of North London and graduated in 2002.
I Returned to Cape Town in 2003 and worked as a designer, furniture maker, producing art pieces on commission while also working as a property renovator.
I exhibited my furniture constructions at the Design Indaba in 2011.
For the past 10 years I have returned to oil painting. More recently, locked down in Covid scenarios, I have concentrated on the smaller landscapes.
